Motherhood. It's like nothing else you will ever experience. It is beautiful. It is hard. It is sometimes heartbreaking. You deserve to have this incredible journey documented in a significant way. My heart responds so strongly to an image of a mother with her children, and it is an honor to capture these moments on camera. I always have this beautiful scenario in my head where I envision a grown child walking up the staircase of their childhood home. They pause on the landing to look at a framed photograph of their mother, with her children around her. And they think "Wow, that's my Mom." This little vision is in my mind as I'm photographing a motherhood session, and I smile as I think of the framed image that will find its own little corner in the hustle and bustle of a busy home. One day, it will be a treasure that reminds the viewer of years gone by, and of the timeless reach of a mother's love.
