The Quintessential New England Beach Session: Family Stories at Wingaersheek


There is something truly magical about summer evenings at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA. As a family photographer, this is one of my absolute favorite backdrops. The iconic giant rocks, soft white sand, and calm shallow tide pools offer that quintessential New England vibe that feels completely timeless and effortless. It creates an organic playground where children can run freely while I focus on capturing beautiful family connections.


Below is a collection of some of my favorite moments spent on this beautiful stretch of coast. No matter the family size or the tides, the coastal golden hour light here always gives us that perfect, nostalgic film-inspired glow that I strive for. We let the kids splash in the water, explore the rocks and tide pools, and wrap every evening in beautiful natural colors.
