The WHY behind my lens, and my creative journey.

I've been very passionate about photographing my own children for several years now. This passion is strongly rooted in gratitude for the little moments that I am lucky enough to observe as their Mother. These moments are fleeting, and the little baby feet that were toddling around not so long ago, are now carrying my growing children on their own journeys. Capturing these journeys and documenting our days together has filled my soul with creativity, and so much happiness. My dream is that one day, my girls will show their own children and grandchildren a beautiful snapshot of where they grew up, what they loved, what inspired them, and the moments that shaped them... THEIR stories and history. These heirloom photos are something that I also love to create for others, and I would be honored help you preserve your family's journey with images to look back on.

My photography style and visual aesthetic have been greatly influenced by my immersion in the ever-inspiring floral and event industry. In 2013, I started Lilac and Lily Floral Design and Event Styling, and since then I have been designing and styling flowers for wedding celebrations all over the Northshore and Boston. This experience in creative design has trickled over into my love of creating and documenting with my camera. My photography style embraces dreamy settings, romantic color palettes, and tender moments full of love. I now photograph children and families in some of the most beautiful places on Boston's Northshore, where for years I have dreamed up and provided wedding flowers for countless couples. I am beyond blessed to have two careers that give me such rewarding results: beautiful flowers, and beautiful photographs.

Here is a look at how I photograph my own children, and how my vision comes to life when documenting our days together. This is my heart and soul, and I look forward to creating. something equally meaningful and beautiful for you.
